A commitment to health and safety

As an employer, the LEMO group is committed to promoting a safe environment for all its employees and visitors to our sites. We understand the importance of creating a safe environment and of taking care of one's self and of others. Health and safety is our first priority.

Our personnel receive the resources and support they need to work in safety, whether that is ergonomic workstations, personal protective equipment or training. Our commitment to health and safety is demonstrated by conforming to the highest standards of occupational health.

The international standard for occupational health and safety management systems (ISO 45001) is the globally recognised benchmark for providing safe and healthy work places by preventing work-related injury and ill-health. LEMO is proud to have been awarded the standard for two of its production sites. A further five sites, including HQ, have begun the certification process.

Applying for certification (and being awarded, of course) not only demonstrates a commitment to implementing best practice, but also a pro-active strategy to further improve occupational health and safety performance. 

In concrete terms, this means striving towards a zero accident culture and the wellbeing of everybody on LEMO premises and actively engaged in our business.
